My Happy Place

I made a happy place.  A happy place is a place you have in your mind. When you’re having a hard time, go to your happy place. My happy place is a jungle with a tree house where I go when I’m mad, sad, or bored. What’s your happy place?

Your happy place sounds awesome. Isn’t it great that you can visit it anytime? Comes in handy when you’re bored or feeling a little down. Go to your happy place to find a gift box wrapped in purple paper… open it and see what great present you’ve received!

My happy place is a garden with a gazebo – that is sometimes white and sometimes oriental looking. There are frogs and birds singing, butterflies flying through. A blue morpho butterfly likes to come and sit on my shoulder.

There is a path that leads to a beautiful beach where I can sit on the sand and listen to the waves (and there are NO MOSQUITOES!), or wade into the warm water and see the brightly colored fish.

Thanks for sharing your happy place with us!

Hi Emily! That sounds like a great happy place! I would love a tree house to escape and find peace. My happy place is snuggling with my family on the beach. I’m glad you have found a place in your mind where you can go when you are feeling sad, mad, or bored. Sometimes I like to think about my happy place just to relax and day dream.

I love the picture you drew too!!!

Congratulations on your baby sister! I am sure you are an amazing older sister!

Excited to read your next blog entry!!!

    Love,
    Amy

It is very good to have a happy place and yours sounds so nice. I really like the picture you have drawn of it.

My happy place is a lot like Ashley’s. It is a lovely beach on a Hawaiian island. The waves wash in and back out gently with a calming sound and the cute birds sing and hop around happily.

I really like that picture you made of your happy place, Emily. I’m glad Grandma Alli taught you about the idea of having a happy place to go to in your mind, and I’m also glad she encouraged you to write about it on your blog. 🙂 My happy place is a nice soft and fluffy comfortable bed that smells really nice with a gentle breeze and flowery scents flowing through the room from the door to the outside, and sunlight and beautiful garden and mountain views through the windows.

Great post, Emily, and I love your picture! I don’t really have a happy place that I can think of. When I’m having a hard time, I guess I just try to look at the good in the situation and try to envision how I can improve things.
@Jen – sounds like you spend a lot of time in your happy place, since it’s your reality. 🙂

Oh I really like the picture and the description of your happy place Emily. I have never really thought about having a happy place in my mind. But I do know that I love to visualize a beautiful garden with all kinds of pretty flowers blooming and lots of different kinds of birds to watch and listen to. The temperature is just right about 78 degrees and the breeze is calm. Also people I love will often visit me there.
