New Poems

I wrote some poems one night and it took me a while to write them but I bet you’ll love them. 🙂 Here they are.

Winter

The soft white snow

The winter breeze

Could easily make you ice cold freeze,

So get on your jacket

And get on your jeans.

Lets go play together

In the ice cold scenes.

Spring

The sprinkles of rain

The melting of snow,

Flowers are blooming just so you know.

It’s spring!

Come on, let’s go!

Autumn ?

Leaves change color, slowly falling down.

Red, orange, yellow, pink, and brown.

It’s happening all over the town,

As you watch the leaves slowly falling down.

Summer

The summer heat

The sandals on your feet

Swimming in the heat

A great big treat.

The Bumble Bee

The great big tree, the bumble bee.

I’m staring at he.

He’s staring at me.

The black and yellow bumble bee,

Living in the great big tree.

Wheat and Flour

The wheat the flour

Something we devour.

It’s not too sweet,

It’s not too sour.

How we love wheat and flour.

This was a fun blog post to read! It really made me long for spring… it’s so very icy cold here right now (unusually so) and I am looking forward to the little flowers budding on the trees again.

And I like the changing leaves… I think spring and fall are my favorite months. And maybe my favorite poems.

Glad the bee just STARED at you instead of stung you!

You are a wonderful poet! The rhymes were so much fun to read. I especially liked the one about winter (even though it’s sooooo cold here right now!!!). Have you read any Shel Silverstein books? They have a lot of fun poems in them. I’ll bet you’d love to read them. One of my favorites is “Where the Sidewalk Ends.” Lots of fun poems in there 🙂

    Hi Sweetie
My what lovely poems! I like every one of them. I especially like your season poems. I think my favorite of them is Autumn.
I looked again at your post about working with HTML GeeWhizzI think you’re smart. Grandpa needs a web site for our storage business. I know I couldn’t do that.

I love you and so proud of all the things you’re learning.
    🙂
