I’ve changed since 2013, and so has my education, relationships, and more. I decided to post about what’s different in my life now, and about what has been happening lately.

How My Homeschool is Now

My mom and dad got a big book with lined paper and wrote some math problems and other things. Right now I’m starting long division. My mom and dad want me to do Piano Marvel – a program that teaches you the piano every day – so I get good at piano. Here is a picture of my homeschool book. I got a green book and Marie got a red one.

What I like to do

I am not so interested in drawing anymore. I found what I really like is singing, writing and reading. I do still really really enjoy drawing but I am getting interested in other things. I wrote a book with a great lesson called the “Ugly Lady.” I’m making Illustrations for it too.

Parties

We have been having lots of parties lately. Yesterday my dad did a piano concert. 50 or more people came to see the concert! I guess we have a lot of friends. 🙂 All the kids were downstairs watching a movie, while the adults watched Dad. My best friend Naomi came to the concert. We haven’t seen each other for a while, so I was really happy to see her again.

Things I’ve Made

I’ve designed my own clothes that the tailor might make for me! The people are really cute that I made to be models. 🙂 Here is a picture.

The Ugly Lady

There was once an old lady who often got laughed at because she was so ugly. She shared what she had with the neighborhood, even though she had very little. All her teeth fell out except her two front teeth. Her dress was made of old kitchen rags, and she had a bald spot right on top of her head. But she didn’t care! All she cared about was her kindness. One day she decided to help the workers pave the road. After the old lady was done, the workers asked the old lady if she would take some money for being so thoughtful. The old lady refused and said, “I don’t take money but I do take love.”? The next day, the old lady woke up on her park bench and decided to eat breakfast. She picked some berries off the bush and saved some for the neighborhood. She sat back down on her bench and then thought, why am I in bad shape when everybody else is in good shape? She thought for quite some time. Then a boy came and sat by her side. They chatted for a while until the old lady asked, “Why am I in bad shape when everybody else is in good shape?” The little boy paused and then said, “I think it is because you take too much care of others, but not of yourself.” The little boy got off the bench and said goodbye to the old lady. Six weeks after that, she decided to try it. She picked up a toothbrush and brushed her wobbly tooth. She never used a toothbrush before. The ugly lady brushed and brushed until a bright light went into her mouth. Her teeth were not wobbly anymore, and all her teeth were back! Then she saw a fairy appear out of the bushes. I made your teeth appear. I am the tooth fairy! You brushed your teeth for the first time! Make sure to do the other parts of your hygiene and live a healthy life. Then, the fairy and the old lady and most of the other people lived a happy life.

The treasure of kindness

One day there was a woman who was living in a house made of treasures.
But she wasn’t happy, she wanted more. Its a bad thing when your not thankful.
Then you just want more and more until nobody wants to be with you. She’s not
thankful for her friends, family, name,food she’s not thankful for thing. And she is so ugly! When you think dirty thoughts you will look dirty. So if you are not thankful for what you have you will have an unhappy life. One day Henna walked outside and had a dirty face. It was a perfect day, but Henna wasn’t thankful. She saw two little fairies pass by. She was going to catch them. But wait, the fairies weren’t passing by, they were coming to her! The fairies said we need to teach you a lesson.We are the treasure of kindness fairies. You are not thankful for what you have, so we decided to turn you into a dog, so you can go to the pet store. Then you can get an owner and see how thankful he or she is. It’s zapping time, said one of the fairies. So they did. They made her a dog and put her in the pet store. She saw how happy everyone was and then sighed. I wish I could be as happy as them. She saw a little boy approach with a cute little face. Dad can I get the dog please? Yes you may. The little boy picked her up and took her home. Here is some nice fresh meat, said the boy. Henna said, I want something better! The boy who could not understand her, ran out of the door, but first he kissed her on the cheek. Henna decided she had to be thankful for what she had, too. She was thankful for what she had and the spell was lifted. And she had a happier life and kindness.

The moral of the story is be thankful for what you have!

Ema is a little girl that longed to go to the forest. Daisy is Ema’s mom.Groomtap is Ema’s dad. He’s from Africa. Max is Ema’s adopted dog. Sassy is Max’s sister. Twinkle is the fairy of the enchanted forest.

Ema And The Enchanted Forest

Ema lived in a house in the city. The city was so dirty and smelly. And there was a hidden forest far away that Daisy didn’t tell Ema about.

Ema looked out the window. And said, “Is there a life better than this?” Her mom told her no. And Ema felt so sad she went straight to her room! She saw a dog on the street from her bedroom window. It was alone! Ema asked Daisy if she could get the dog and her mom said,“No! Pets are messy and dirty!” Ema couldn’t help it. She got the dog herself. The dog was so happy to see that he had her to take care of him! She made a dog bed for her dog, she fed her dog, and even brushed her dog. Her dog was no ordinary dog. He could think as well as a human! The dog drew a picture of a forest and wrote, “Go to this forest. It’s my home! I need to find it. It’s close to the volcano Graspa!”?Ema could not believe her eyes! The picture the dog drew was amazing! Ema said, “I’ll help you get to your forest!”

Part 2

Ema and her dog snuck outside. Ema did not ask permission because she knew that Daisy and her dad would say no. Ema said, “Theres no map!”?The dog handed her a map of the forest. Ema said, “We do have a map. Let’s go!”

Ema walked to the train station. When she got there, guards were standing on each side of the entrance. She hid from them. She went into the train station without being seen, by the help of her dog. Without paying, she got in the train that goes to the forest. It took three days to get there. Ema brought food for her dog and herself. On the train a stranger looked at Ema and said, “Want some candy?” And Ema said, “No thanks.” The dog barked at the stranger and wrote, “He wants to kidnap you!”?Ema screamed. The guards in the train arrested him and put him in the train prison. When they got to the forest train station, Ema did not like the city a tiny bit.

At home, Daisy and Groompat called out, “Ema! Ema!” They were looking for Ema. The dog gave the map of the forest to Ema. Ema said ,“It will take two days to get to your home dog!” The dog said, “I don’t want to be called dog! My real name is Max.” Ema agreed and continued her journey to Max’s home. Ema pitched a tent for her and Max to sleep in.

Part 3

Ema woke up in the morning with the best sleep she’d ever had, the birds were singing the most beautiful songs, and there was the best air you could ever breathe. After Ema had her exercise, Max woke up. “Good morning,” he said. Ema could understand Max without writing! Now she knew dog language! Ema got out some food from her bag. Apples, pears, and strawberries. “Breakfast!” Ema called out. Max and Ema loved the forest. After breakfast they put away their things and moved on. Ema saw a tiger and said,“Look how beautiful this animal is!”Max said,“That animal is dangerous too!” They ran and ran, and the tiger was out of sight. After running, they saw in a far distance the volcano. They couldn’t wait to go there. They marched down the tall mountain. The mountain had a big hollow tree ,“it is 1000 years old” the dog said. It was getting dark and Emma and Max were growing tired. They pitched their tents and then drifted to sleep.

Part 4

The next morning they had a quick breakfast. Ema said ,“it will take 1 hour to get to the volcano, Graspa.” They continued their journey again to Max’s home. They came upon an Indian village with black Indians. The Indians said,“Why did you come here?” Ema was so scared. She hid in the bushes. The Indian guards stepped into the village. Ema and Max tiptoed around the village and found one other dog! Max was so happy. That dog was his sister! Max danced, and wiggled, and barked. He was so happy! Sassy, Max’s sister said ,“Let’s go home. Our family is waiting for us!” They passed all trees and all trunks until they got home. Max and Sassy ran up to their home and barked louder than ever, and jumped the highest in the world, and smiled the happiest faces. Ema was glad to see that Max was home and he was okay.

Part 5

Ema said the biggest goodbye to max and walked home. While she was walking, she saw a rescue helicopter. The helicopter landed next to Ema. Ema ran away and saw wands growing on a tree. She picked one. Another wand grew in it’s place. She saw a fairy that had sparkling wings. The fairy said, “I’m twinkle. You discovered the enchanted part of the forest! Don’t tell anyone about it or else you will forget everything good in your life. I will teach you how to use your wand. Think what you want to do and then say it! Bye.” Ema saw a fairy! She did what the fairy said. She made a portal with her wand to her home. She walked in the portal, and she was home! Ema ran to her mom and dad and they said,“Where have you been?” Ema said, “I was sleeping.” Ema’s parents were confused. Ema put herself in the closet and then made a new dog. Ema said, “Make this dog disappear every time my parents come!” Then a whole new story came.

THE END

I made up this story.

The Fisherman and his wife

Once upon a time, there was a fishermen. He was fishing for fish. He felt something on the end of his line! It was a fish. The fish talks, “Put me back in the water,” he said, “I am not a fish. I am a prince.”

“If you are a prince I will put you back in the water,” so he did. He went home to his hut and sat on the little chair. The wife wondered, “Why didn’t you catch any fish today?”

“I did,” said the fisherman, “but he was a prince.”

“Well,” said his wife, “if he’s a prince, won’t you give me a favor? You have to tell the fish I want a pretty house.”

“Why?” said the fisherman.

“Go!” said his wife. So off he went. When he got to the sea he called out, “Oh fish in the sea, my wife begs me that I wish from the magic fish.”

“What does she want?” he asked.

“She wants a pretty house,” said the fisherman.

“Go home! Now you have a pretty house!” So he went home and saw a beautiful house with flowers, trees, and even a farm! He went inside it. His wife was sitting on the chair. “We’re going to be happy here,” said the fisherman.

“Let’s see about that,” said his wife. It lasted one week. Now she was tired of that home and decided to have a bigger one. So she said, “I don’t want this any more. I want a castle.” So off the fishermen went. Then he got to the sea and called out, “Oh fish in the sea, my wife begs a wish from the magic fish.”

“What does she want?”

“She wants a castle.”

“Go home. Now you have a castle.” So he went home and saw a castle with a bridge. It was gorgeous! He went inside. His wife was happy. He was happy too!

“Were going to be happy here.”

“We shall see.” said his wife. It lasted for two weeks. She got bored. “I no longer want to be normal. I want to be queen!”

“No!” said the fisherman.

The wife screamed. “Go! now! please!” So he went to the sea.

“Oh fish in the sea, please!!! Listen to me! My wife begs a wish from the magic fish!”

“Well, what doss she want?”

“She wants to be queen.”

“Go home. Now she is queen!” So he went home and saw his wife dressed in gold! Their happiness lasted three weeks.

“I no longer want to be queen of the town. I want to be queen of the stars and the moon.”

“Okay,” said the fishermen. So he went to the sea and called out, “Oh fish in the sea, my wife begs a wish from the magic fish.”

“WHAT DOES SHE WANT?!”

“She wants to be queen of the stars and the moon.”

“NO! NO! NO! She wants too much. She must go back to the old hut.”

Happy Days!

Once upon a time there was a big family. There were 7 kids and 3 moms and 1 dad but the dad was sad because there was no other dads. One of the moms was named Kate but a very amazing thing happened. The mom saw a magic crystal, but the other people in their family were in the crystal and the mom didn’t know what the secret spell was. So she asked an old man what the secret spell was. The old man said that the secret spell was to get two fairies and tell them to use their magic wand to break the spell. The spell is secret but I will only tell you so she went to the two fairies and she said to them that they need the magic wand. And then they went back home and broke the secret spell and then there wasn’t 1 dad anymore, there were 5 dads. Then the dad was not sad ever again. The end.

The bunny was funny. The bunny world had rhymes. One day there was a pirate and it took all the bunnies. There was one more bunny. It was in a hat, a big hat. It was funny. Kimo is a bunny name, and all the bunnies speak Spanish. The day had to be dark, because if it didn’t it would destroy the bunny kingdom. It had to be dark because the queen bunny is mean. She likes to make it really dark, and one bunny, a long time ago, took all the thrones. So, the queen bunny would make it so it would be dark in September. The pirates took the bunnies because they wanted to kill the bunnies and make fur coats. One day, one bunny saved all the bunnies. All the bunnies were in a trap on the ship, and the black bunny saved all the bunnies by squishing through the bars and breaking the glass. Then all the bunnies could come out. The end.

Meet fish and dish. They were mermaids but an evil mermaid transformed them into fish. Then a shark came and ate them up and there were no more mermaids. Then the shark put them in a whale’s tummy. The whale sniffed for mermaids and they found a mermaid! And they were happy! Then the mermaid transformed the fish back into mermaids! The mermaid sent a robot to save mermaids from a pirate. And it was good because if that robot didn’t save the mermaids, their kingdom would be destroyed. So they set off and there was someone in the sea that is bad. It is an eel so the mermaid got the eel and then they lived happily ever after. The End.

I am going to tell you a dragon story about me riding on a dragon. On a bright sunny morning I woke up and I saw a dragon and it was a nice dragon and it let me ride on it and it could talk too.

It was funny, he did tricks and it is just like a dog except it could fly!!!! Marie was looking out the window to see me and she said, “Emily, I want you to be back soon.”

“Ok”, I said.

And we flew to a waterfall and we saw an iguana by the waterfall, too, and it jumped away and I saw my mom.

I am going to tell you a story. I made it up myself. Once upon a time there were three fairies. And they were wishing to not work all the time. Sometimes they got really really tired and tired but their mom was saying clean the dustbin, so they did. They worked and they worked until they saw a bird, not just any kind of bird, but a magic bird. And the magic bird made it so they didn’t have to work!!! They didn’t have to work all the time and they lived happily ever after.
