I Got My Ears Pierced!

I got my ears pierced! It doesn’t hurt, it’s only a pinch. When I got my ears pierced I was scared, but it didn’t hurt. They gave me gold earrings. She said I can’t eat seafood. But that’s not true. Some people believe that if you eat seafood when you get your ears pierced, your ears will swell and hurt. Evil seafood!
Well speaking of seafood, I ordered a fish at a restaurant with its brain, tongue, and eyes! It was so big! I didn’t eat the head, though.

I’m glad it didn’t hurt. It felt like a pinch when I had my ears pierced many years ago – and only hurt of you don’t keep them clean and they get infected. So use your mom’s Melaleuca oil around them to help keep them free from germs as your ears heal.
Now for that fish… you are a very adventurous eater! I don’t like to eat fish… but even if I did, I’m not sure I’d have ordered one with it’s head and eyes! Did you enjoy eating it? 🙂
By the way, how do you say grandma in Chinese or Malay?

I think you will have fun wearing different kinds of earrings. Perhaps one day you will have some that look like flowers. The small gold ones are nice, too.
It’s great that you like to eat fish. I do too. Fish have lots of nutrients that are good for you. I have not yet been to a restaurant that serves fish with the head and tail. It looks like it had very shimmery skin.

Oh You’re getting so grown up! You look very pretty with (or without your ears pierced. I hope you find some fun and pretty ear rings to wear. I used to wear some silly looking ear rings but at the time I thought they were really cute and stylish. I remember a couple of pair that as I look at the pictures now… they would really be silly looking. One pair was a cluster of 3 Christmas bells each about an inch long. Another pair was a furry hanging ball. The ball was about an inch in diameter. WOW styles sure have changed for the better.
